Connect a Facebook Page for posting
Authorize Indie Author Media to publish posts about your books on a Facebook Page you manage, answer comments as that Page, read its insights, and read and reply to the messages people send that Page in Messenger.
What we request access to
- pages_show_list — List the Facebook Pages you manage, so you can choose the Page we post to.
- pages_read_engagement — Read your Page's name, picture, follower count and recent posts.
- pages_manage_posts — Publish, edit and delete posts on the Page you choose.
- read_insights — Read your Page's and its posts' insights: views, viewers, post engagements, followers, clicks and reactions.
- pages_read_user_content — Read the comments people leave under your Page's posts.
- pages_manage_engagement — Publish comments as your Page, such as replies to those comments.
- pages_messaging — Read and reply to messages people send to the Page in Messenger.
- pages_manage_metadata — Turn on notifications to this app for new messages and comments on the Page.
Posts and comments published from this app are public on your Page as soon as they are published. Messages sent from this app go only to the person in the conversation. You can remove the app at any time from Facebook Settings → Business integrations.
Next step: Clicking Continue opens Facebook, where you choose the Page to share and grant access. You then return here to the Pages you shared.
