What is this?

Indie Author Media is a book-marketing agency. Authors who work with us authorize our service to run Meta ad campaigns from their own ad account and Facebook Page, pointing readers at their Amazon book page.

By connecting, you let IAM read your ad accounts and Pages and create campaigns for your approval. Everything we create starts paused, so nothing spends until you turn it on in Ads Manager. You can disconnect at any time from Facebook Settings → Business integrations.

The permissions we request

• pages_show_list
  List the Facebook Pages you manage, so you can pick the one your ads run from.
• pages_read_engagement
  Read your Page name, profile picture and follower count to render the ad preview.
• business_management
  List your business portfolios and see which one owns each ad account.
• ads_read
  List your ad accounts and read spend, impressions, clicks and reach.
• ads_management
  Create a campaign, ad set, creative and ad on your ad account. Everything is created paused.
• pages_manage_ads
  Create the ad creative on behalf of the Page you pick.
